Luxury Accommodation for Groups

Over the years, the grounds and buildings have been tastefully updated and magnificently restored, elegantly enhanced to offer 108 guest rooms and suites, along with 36 luxury residences. Each room is equipped with modern luxuries including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and Smart TVs with satellite channels. Additionally, exclusive use of the resort can also be arranged through our dedicated events manager.

Tax Relief

Ireland’s preferential Tourism VAT rate of 13% provides substantial savings for businesses. Rates are inclusive of VAT and breakfast. Recent Irish legislation allows VAT reclaims on accommodation for delegates attending qualifying conferences, with specific criteria regarding delegate numbers and venue capacity.

Businesses registered for VAT in Ireland can claim these deductions in their regular VAT returns. Companies from other EU member states can claim through the Irish VAT authorities under the Eighth VAT Directive, while businesses outside the EU can do so under the Thirteenth VAT Directive. Valid VAT invoices and details of the qualifying event are required for claims.
