TERRE - Two Michelin Star Restaurant

Terre is an intimate, contemporary Two Michelin Star restaurant located in the 17th Century Manor House of Castlemartyr Resort, the ambiance of Terre is luxurious and refined, with elegant décor and the comfort of guests to the fore. Chef Patron Vincent Crepel brings all he has learned in the world’s finest restaurants to the best larder in Ireland and places umami at the heart of every dish.
Over three and a half hours, guests are invited to relax over an unhurried tasting menu in three different locations. With an open kitchen and dishes finished table side, diners enjoy a dynamic interaction with the people creating their meal. The menu features exotic ingredients, unexpected flavour combinations featuring classic French cuisine with Asian influences, with intricate presentations. Service is impeccable, with staff attuned to anticipate the needs and preferences of each guest.

My food is rooted in classical French technique yet alive with the bright, exciting flavours of Asia. I will introduce you to wonderful wines from small producers chosen to honour exceptional ingredients. Starting his career in France, Crepel subsequently worked in several renowned international restaurants from the three-Michelin-star Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain, and Restaurant Andre in Singapore to the historic Restaurant Hôtel de Ville Crissier, in Switzerland.
Commenting at the time of receiving the award, Crepel said: “Gaining a star after such a brief period of time is a source of immense pride to me and my team at Terre. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this level so quickly. It is a stunning and early reward for achieving our goals for Terre. I have been a devotee of the Michelin Guide since the very start of my career so to be awarded my first star as Chef Patron is an achievement I have long hoped for.”
He describes Terre as a modern and immersive dining experience using age-old French cooking methods coupled with an Asian influence. The option of paired wines and teas add to the experience of the tasting menu. Dinner is presented in Terre on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays with a Lunch service available on Friday & Saturdays.
