As well as rivers and greens, Castlemartyr Resort consists of a grand 17th century country manor house that sits adjacent to the ruins of an 800 year old castle.

With a storied history that includes Strongbow, Water Raleigh, the Knight’s Templar and more, the Castlemartyr Resort was officially opened for guests in 2008. While ensuring the grounds and buildings have been tastefully updated, they have been magnificently restored and elegantly enhanced to offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.

The Resort contains 103 guest rooms and suites, along with 47 luxury self-catering lodges, perfect for traveling family and friends. While Castlemartyr Resort itself is just 25 minutes from Cork airport, and 2.5 hours from Dublin airport.

Castlemartyr Resort are delighted to be approved by the HSE to host civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships at Castlemartyr Resort. We have several different rooms available for all types of ceremonies, from our classic Manor House rooms and venue, to cermonies against the backdrop of our 13th century castle. We welcome couples of all faiths and backgrounds, and pride ourselves on providing a 5 Star level of service.
